No it is not necessary nor appropriate. For it to be on this site is not reasonable or necessary. There was a time when you rode with cops. You rode with them and did work in partnership with them. When was it you went from partnering with them to attacking them. You are just jumping on the band wagon. Us GPD folks do not understand how you went from friend to foe in a matter of weeks. I, as well as the people I work with have many times thought to call you about this or that. But, we remember how back stabbing you became. I just wanted you to know that the people you claim to help are being left out during this time. When is the last time you found a crack house or helped target an entire area to help a bad neighborhood? I remember when the GPD counted on you. Do you?

Obviously you are a GPD officer. I too, am an officer in a neighboring city. I don't think the Troublemaker meant to cause any GPD officers any harm...I only think he meant to bring attention to the ignorant person who produced/pasted these signs around town.

I dont think you know the Troublemaker very well. GPD has first hand knowledge of the Troublemaker, neighboring places do not. All the good done does not out weigh the knife stuck in the GPD's back.

This poster is despicable and whoever put them up is only fanning the flames of dissention between the races. It will be assumned that a Black person put them up whether true or not and this will only foster more resentment from Whites. Both races will lose!

I Woody Cavenaugh who drives to Greensboro every day and serves the community of Greensboro through three nights a week of volunteer service does not think that the troublemaker is making trouble for the Greensboro Police department by this entry. I do not know the troublemaker personally, I just know it is hard to take the statement:
"Is this necessary? These "Wanted" posters are located in Greensboro in the UNCG area." as a stab against the Greensboro Police Department or members thereof.

Furthermore, I add answer "No" it isn't necessary.

Thank you,

I, like Woody also refuse to be anonymous and didn't realize in my anger that my name would not be posted. I entered comment #4. Brenda Bowers

Well, being an officer, I must remain anonymous....for obvious reasons. Mr. GPD officer, I may not know "The Troublemaker" pre se, but, it still is not clear to me how putting up that poster on this site and asking if it is necessary, slams the GPD.

You're right, Ben, this is a bit over the top and hardly necessary.

It appears that an earlier commenter was confused as to your intent.

I deem that the poster portraying Mr. Wray as a racist is warranted. The lable would be unfounded if the secret police unit, that was established under his watch, targeted every race. However, it is evident that African-American officers were the common denominators for the focus of the aforementioned unit's clandestine investigations. It is easy for someone other that an African-American to have a nihilistic perspective on race related issues. However,I am an AFRICAN-AMERICAN Police Officer. I do not share the concept that the entire Greensboro Police Department was targeted by that poster. I think it clearly shows the culprit responsible for those dispicable civil rights violations. I sincerly hope that Mr. Wray finds, the hard bed he has made for himself, a comfortable place to sleep.

I do not think wray is a racist...he made some mistakes...persona over procedure...what is most alarming is the people who are running to get him...linda miles...mitch johnson..are the same ones that worked to stop, end, obstruct the project homestead investigation....he who is without sin can cast the first stone...i am sure wray messed up..we all do...i am also sure that miles and johnson has serious dislike for wray when he and his staff stopped the city uppers from obstructing the homestead investigation...there is a whole lot of mess when 9 people control a population of 250,000 plus when 12 % of the population votes.....they will paint it like they want it....obviously
