Dianne Bellamy-Small is special. If you do not think so just aks her. She can leak documents without consequence. She threw a temper tantrum to get the office she wanted. Most recently, she was pulled over for speeding by a GPD Officer and scolded him for doing his job. She threatned the officer by reporting she was going to see the Cheif and she reported to him that Council people should not get tickets. the Officer that pulled her over is a rookie named Calbert.
Calbert, who is new on the job, backed down from giving Bellamy-Small a ticket because of her hissy fit. She was reportedly going more than 10 mph over the speed limit. That would mean a ticket for most of us. However, in Bellamy-Small's world special rules apply. It is good to be the Queen.

Trouble, it is interesting that you should bring this up. Just yesterday a friend of mine told me that friends of the Mayor (my friend referred to him as "Keith") and City Council members could get away with a lot.
DUI's, speeding, stuff like that. No problem for "Keith" and company.

...so coucilwoman BS was able to BS her way out of a ticket...what does the BS stand for again?
I would hope that our leadership does not support any policeman that did not enforce the law regardless of the driver.
Ask the question why was she not charged to our city manager and city attorney. ...sigh...

Do you also remember the big fuss Yvonne Johnson made over being stopped by an officer when Robert White was chief? I believe she said she was being unfairly "racially profiled"!

What's the big deal about Sue asking you where you got the story. I was probably thinking the same thing she was, which was where you got the story. I didn't think you were making it up, I was just wondering if it was from another member of the department who heard about it from the officer, or someone who happened to be near by when it happened, or through the department grapevine, etc. Seems like a fairly natural question to me.
It seems like a natural question for MITCH JOHNSON believers who can't stand anything that's negative about him to be brought to the public's attention. Documentation is not good enough (Willow Oaks-Bryant Electric) for the truth so if NO ticket was written which means no documentation-Ben that puts you between a rock and a hard place with the non-believers(Sue, Roch101 others).
