Mitch might want to go have a talk with Jenks to find out what happens to a local public official who has a substance abuse problem and refuses to admit it or even seek help for it. Mitch, you can usually find Jenks at Lucky 32 on any given evening hunkered down at the bar. Oh yeah, and if you can't find him at Lucky's, take a ride down Madison Ave in Starmount and look for the run down ranch style house with several newspapers on the driveway. Jenks refuses to read the newspaper because he got tired of reading about how the comissioners were after him. Instead of cancelling his subscription, he just refuses to pick up the paper off his driveway and throw it away. tisk, tisk, tisk. Now he's a big-time consultant for the county's Tax Dept. Or at least he thinks he is till the end of March. Alcohol is a dangerous thang! Wise up Mitch!

Sure, I understand you don't agree with some of Johnson's decisions... me too from time to time. But such viscious name calling only serves to identify YOU as a... well several names comes to mind... but I was reared better than that.
I would say seeing is believing when looking for the truth, however when people like Hoggard, Cone and others continue to believe Mitch Johnson's many explanation one has to wonder what it would take to change their minds. I know, they haven't said they believe or don't believe Mitch Johnson. How many more explanations will it take to form an opinion on Mitch's many explanations?
One thing is made very clear by these videos. Mitch isn't smart enough to manage a city. His job requires knowledge of many codes, procedures, regulations, laws, and to put it simply, vocabulary. Mitch doesn't know what he's talking about. He can't remember the words he has used in the past becuase he doesn't know what the words mean. This may sound like a personal attack on Mitch. But hey, when you are in a public office, you sometimes have to be evaluated. And sometimes the results of the evaluation are negative. This is one of those cases. Listening to Mitch speak reveals that Mitch is not intelligent enough to do his job properly.
True Mitch Johnson is not intelligent enough to hold his position. But this is often true since people generally rise to the level of their incompetence. However his real problem is lying. It is difficult if not impossible to remember what lies were told, let alone when.

Mitch reminds me of the Governor in the movie Blazing Saddles. He needs a "hurrumph" from every member of Council to protect his phoney baloney statements and positions. His only consistency is his inconsistency. What a sorry example of a leader and human being! Zoro
