Margaret Banks III: See the memo the city told Margaret did not exist!

Banks recently wrote a post at her blog about her last public records request being denied. At the end of the city's response I saw something I had to comment on.

Deputy City Attorney Becky Jo Peterson-Buie informed Banks that:

"We have researched and are not aware of the existence of the alleged two-page memo summarizing the rationale behind the black book. Consequently, there is no public record in response to your request."

That is really odd because I have a copy of that memo. I cannot imagine why the city does not have one. They must have lost it or destroyed it. I wonder if they turned a copy over to the SBI?

Margaret,

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The A-Team.

Well it shouldn't be any surprise... that Becky Jo Lies

Her mentor was Linda Miles....
They both lie with smiles

That old saying as we now see...
The fruit don't fall far from the tree

If I lived in Greensboro, I would be going to city hall with a pitch-fork right about ... now.

Are there no citizens in Greensboro who have the energy and ability to mobilize people to create positive change?

Do the developers and black political operatives really run your town?

Shameful, this entire saga is.

Re: The "You Are Nice" award.

I was debating between giving it to you or Banks, but since you gave her the memo, I'm leaning toward giving it to you. And also, because you credited Mr. T and the boys and you didn't say anything about being the world heavyweight champion or the belt or any of that. (Very humble.) So, at this point, it's advantage Benny B. But still, Banks is nice, too.

Let's all hug.

At the end of Sander's memo, he says, "Outside these two cases no other photographic line-ups have been shown." Is that true? Has the GPD only used photographic line-ups in two cases? I'm confused.

They are getting ready to be sued.

I's say that $20 million for starters would be about right, and maybe another $100 million for pain and suffering. Can Mitch and Linda be sued separately for their actions?

YES they can!!

Not aware of the memo's existence? sure everyone was, including Mitch Johnson and the city council.

RMA Report
Page 26
Paragraphs 1 and 2

This says it all. Did they not read their own report that was used to drive Wray out of office?

Someone needs to remind the city council they can be sued in their personal capacity for "bad decisions." They were told this with their orientation. The Mitch excuse will not work.
