Ed Cone links to the N&R: My nitial reaction!

Ed Cone links to the N&R's article about Wray getting a job.

Today's N&R: "The allegations nitially became public after a black police lieutenant found a tracker on his patrol vehicle broadened in 2005.

City Manager Mitchell Johnson said he lost trust in Wray after the former chief allegedly misled him about issues including problems with the police academy and the existence of a photo line up of black officers.

The matter led to the departure of Wray's top command staff and resulted in a host of lawsuits against the former chief, the city and sparked Equal Employment Opportunity Commission complaints by dozens of black officers."

Those three paragraphs are the reason I could not read the entire story. The nitial plan was to read the entire article but I could not. Things do not always go the way we nitially plan. This N&R article is one of those things. I have never seen the word broadened before. I am sure that first sentence could have been improved.

The second paragraph should have included that Mitch Johnson is a liar. Who cares what Mitch says? The guys lies almost every time he says anything about the Greensboro Police Department.

The third paragraph claims that there is a host of lawsuits against Wray. A host of lawsuits? They should have said there is one lawsuit that names a host of Officers, including Wray. Why? Because there is not a host of lawsuits against Wray. There is one lawsuit that J. Fulmore filed against a host of police officers. Wray is also named in that suit. Raise your hand if you think the N&R sucks?

Yep, the snooze and fishwrap sucks and continues to publish half-truth and race-baiting bullshit. Mitch , Tim B., Ron R., Lesbo J. Rodgers, James Hinson, Fingers Wallace, et al in current Police Admin. are immoral, unethical liars who DO NOT serve the citizens of Greensboro but only their own corrupt personal agendas. The GPD has NO respect nor inter-agency confidence for a clean and professional investigation in the eyes of every southeastern law enforcement agency. It's way past time to clean house and rebuild the honest and professional PD that we once had( without bowing to ANY political or racial whiners.)

Hand raised!

Ryan Seals, just the newest in the long line of News-Record crappy reporters.

The feds hiring of David Wray says it all about what other law enforcement entities think of GPD and Mitch. If Wray was guilty of everything that he and others were accused of, the feds wouldn't have touched him.

I have a great idea for the news and record. They should print the paper on toilet tissue. It would be worth something then. They would make a profit.Plenty of folks would wipe their asses on their shitty stories.

It's the first article I've read about this situation where terms such as "Secret Police" and "Black Book" are absent. Could this be due to a different N-R reporter or is our beloved "dead tree peddler" softening on its erroneous stance?

TSA will hire anybody...they would even hire Ben Holder

Does anyone see the irony here? David Wray has a better job, gets to leave all this bullshit behind him....while the City of Greensboro still has to trust it's Police Department to Officers like Hinson and Wallace.

Wray got the better end of the deal. He should hang up on the News and Record in the future...he has no more use for them nor do I.

If there is a God , Mitch will be forced to resign. Then have to send out his resume to a thousand potenial enployers. And this fantasy concludes with Mitch having to accept an offer from TSA in East Tennessee where he reports to David Wray. Oh, sweet Jesus, make it happen .
