There was a package that had received attention from a law enforcement agency in another jurisdiction. This package contained illegal narcotics and it was headed to an address in Greensboro. Because of this, the other agency contacted the GPD and alerted them of the package and its destination. The Greensboro Vice and Narcotics Division was to work out a plan with the post office so they would know when the package was delivered. However, for whatever reason, the communication between the two failed. I must be absolutely out of my mind to even entertain posting the rest of this story. However, it sure is a damn juicy one! When I first heard this story (I think I know what you are talking about) I did not think it was a big deal. But once I heard the location the drugs were headed, I changed my mind. Scary!
Could it have been botched on purpose? Screwing up something like this sounds like amateur hour. Who's over vice and narcotics?
It could have been and it certainly looks as if it was. Maybe the Texas Rangers call GPD about a package with 30 lbs of weed going to a very very suprising place and the GPD "misses" it. Ron Rogers is over Vice and Narcotics. The place that the package was going is more than controversial. Open this up and it's a big can of worms that will never be closed. There is a gag order already.
The place where the drugs were going was protected by GPD. They know they almost got caught so they took some tips from GPD to prevent this from becoming a regular occurence. A fellow officer called me and alerted me to this article. If this gets out more than it already is the department will split even further apart.

This was not botched. It could only be deliberate. Miller, Speedling and Robbie have to be in on this cover-up. They will do whatever is necessary to protect Nelson Johnson, the Pulpit Forum and Jorge Cornell. Only the feds can clean up this mess.

I guess this shows us why Nelson and the Pulpit Forum have been such strong supporters of King J and the God-aw-mighty Latin Kings and Queens.

It is not uncommon for law enforcement agencies and postal services to have communication mishaps. Was it shipped air? Ground? UPS? FED EX? DHL? USPS? The mail delivering agencies are not always willing to work with police. There is halfhearted efforts that should be accounted.
Also, many times drug dealers use a mail driver to pick it up. They will use an addy that is on the route of the pickup man and instead of delivering it; it just stays in the truck until the driver can get it out without being noticed. It may not have even been headed there.
The miscommunication is not uncommon. What is uncommon is the gag order. Miller is a yeller not a teacher. He is losing respect every minute. No law enforcement agency that I have worked for or with would have executed a gag order over this.
Rev Johnson, in my opinion, knows nothing about drugs. He has let shit birds in his place and they have chosen to use him and will more than likely ruin him.
GPD will have to cover their tails on this one. You better believe the Chiefs Office has had a meeting over the weekend over this blog.
Of course excuses will be made and the good Reverend will be cleared. Robbie and Miller want him to head up the police review board with suboena
powers that they are planning.

FACTS:
1.The package only had the address of the BCC on it but no name.
2.The GPD is very upset this information is out in the publics view.
3. RR will be silenced until this summer and then he will retire.
4. There is an investigation going on right now becuase Miller wants this blog to be less informed.

No doubt there are honest and reliable officers in Vice & Narcotics who would made the interception, but word claim from the top to stop it. That would explain the gag order.

I am glad you didn't put your surveillance info on your facts list becuase it isn't true. It was Bellamy and NOT Miller that was in charge when the secret police secretly taped black leaders.
They turned their information over to the feds. They have hours upon hours of taped conversations between Jorge Cornell and others.
Miller is doing the best he can do and he is a good man. The stuff on this blog is not helping the city. People must learn to trust the leaders THEY elected and not rip them apart. The people did not "elect" Miller, and if that is the best we can do, that is sad. He rules by intimidation run rampant by his own insecurities. He has his cronies who kiss up to get selfish rewards which are not in line with what helps the organization.
No word came from the top to "stop" anything. There is no "gag order" and in my opinion it was an honest mistake that could become a horrific scandal. The police department is better than it has ever been and it continues to get better every day. I hope everybody goes on about their business and largely ignores this. Who ever gave this info up should be deeply ashamed because they broke our brotherhood code. I hope we can all put our grudges to the side and support our Chief and our City Manager's Office. Speedling is retired FBI and he knows what he is doing. Miller has a spotless record and is doing a super job. Honest mistake, move on!

I wouldn't rely on the Greensboro police as a citizen.hopefully citizens are smart enough to lock there property up,arm thereselves legally, and come together as neighbors to dethrone crime in neighborhoods and not have to rely on untrustworthy ,unhonest,unloyal,unionist.That is not speaking for all,there are some good.And to the comment as to the Greensboro police department being "better than it's ever been", do they perform random drug test for officers such as yourself because after a statement like that I think you need to be tested. It did happen and the order to not mention it is real. Our police department has zero trust between the top and the bottom and that is why this got out. Miller ran with the wrong group when he got here and killed any chance of learning from our best. I am still not sure how he joined with Hinson and not with Wolfe. I am doubly confused about him and Cheeks buddy buddy thing. Miller got this job through default and Speedling has helped curve his grade.
