Comment of the Week!

Miller: "The Center simply was not the subject of the investigation." Why not? The drugs were delivered to the Beloved Community Center. Nobody from the center offered up the drugs to the police. Something obviously happened to them. Nelson Johnson is the founder and director of BCC. He also in recent years has embraced, aided and abetted a street gang. The leader of that gang and numerous of his followers are jailed under federal indictment for racketeering, including a wide range of crimes from drug dealing to plotting murder. Johnson is accusing Greensboro police of targeting them because of racism. You don't have to be a cop to see that common sense would put the BCC at the center of any investigation of this drug delivery. Only an incompetent or corrupt police chief would conclude otherwise. Miller appears to be both.

I dont know about that, Johnson has not been as vocal lately. Im sure he knows that his bcc has the smell of shit all over it. He better stay below the radar they could end up linking him in to this.

Are you crazed? There is no investigation of this missing pot. There hasn't been one from the moment Miller learned where the pot was going. Nelson Johnson is simply untouchable by GPD.

I hate to say it but its project homestead all over again ...You have drugs being shipped to a coummunity organization headed by a controversial figure who receives city backing...you have corrupt city council members some that were involved in project homestead the first time (and got away with it). Finally, an inept police department that either has officers involved or they are run by a key-stone cop.

If Hinson is your "go to" "get things done" man would'nt it seem plausible that Miller would protect Johnson? Hinson protected Chief White's son from being arrested for DWI. It sounds as if Miller recieved advice from Hinson on how to handle the BCC scandel.
