That is what happened during the real release of the information that was recently pushed by several media outlets and council members as new information.
The transcripts have been available since 2007 for anyone who wants to see them. They have been sitting in the clerks Office for more than 5 years just waiting for us to go read them.
What does Zach know about this issue? He obviously went with the new information release idea when he was on WGHP. Why? Has Zach never been shown these transcripts? Has he asked to see any kind of information that might help him understand the Wray Fray? Do any of them truly get what happened?
I would hope that Zach would be well informed about this because this is a big issue. We can't afford to have people in charge that lack a strong and clear understanding of the entire Wray Fray. Zach should have known his history better.
As for the media, it's par for the course. What would be honorable and a step in the right direction? Maybe a few little updates or retractions. After all, Mayor Keith Holiday released the transcripts and the audio in 2007. Stop with the new information bologna.

I think Ben Holder should run the News and Record, he seems to know more.
People like Ben are what we need in Public Office across the board. Current Council suffers from memory loss, loss of hearing and loss of touch. The same goes for its staff, NOT ours. We can talk forever about lack of trust, but when we are left to communicate with the MOST lying City Manager in history.....it doesn't take a 5th grader to figure out the rest. Look around, then look down...this Council chose to take the low road. SMH

The state of the city is the fault of the City Manager, she lost control of the police dept, housing code violation dept and now the office of public information. I hate to say it but she is over her head, I can almost feel the fear in her at council meetings, waiting for any council member to save her. The Council loves her because she is there yes girl, she was the best friend qualified. I still like to know what arson investigation she talking about, Ben Holder was on the money.
