Wray vs Johnson: Greensboro Still Can't Get Story Straight.

I watched WGHP Fox 8 last night and saw the Wray/Johnson transcript story.  I saw Zach talk about how good it was that more information was out.  Mrs. Abuzaiter talked about why this new information was so important to her.

I further read in the N&R about this information now becoming public.  Amanda's stroy was titled "Transcript in Greensboro police chief's firing now public"

I even saw Ed Cone had a lil post about the new information.

Here is the only problem with this story.  The information isn't newly released.  As a matter of fact, the actual recording was released September of 2007.  Seems like Zachary woulda remembered this.

Watching WGHP again is rather comical when you know that the newly released transcripts were really released in 2007.

Zach Matheny: "It's finally at this point, seven years later, coming out to what actually happened in some of the conversations that took place."

Actually, the transcripts and the audio was released by the city in 2007.  The 17 pages of newly released transcripts WGHP and Zach are pumped up about is old news.  

I actually think the ones released in 2007 were not redacted and the city provided the audio.  In real life, more information was released about this in 2007.

Amanda, WGHP and everyone else pushing this "newly released transcript" story should fix their mistake.  As for Zach, next time he has a camera in front of him and he is  talking about the Wray Fray, he may wanna call me first.
